I have found in the past that one thing which helps in RPs is for there to be a way to distinguish when a main character is speaking, and who that character is. The easiest way to do that is by using colored text, but there is limited selections on forums...

Above are 2 links to easy-to-use html color code indexs. Choose a color that suits you and is also visible on these forums, then send me the info in a PM and I will post your name w/ that color. No one else will be able to use the same color as long as you remain a part of these forums.

OK, now I bet there are some who will be asking: ~ Well, how do I use those colors ? ~

- Easy enough. Just before your starting quotations you enter ' [color=#fill in your colors corresponding number here] ', and then at the end after your final quotation for that characters statement you put ' [/color] '.

If you still need more help then please contact any member who seems to already have some understanding of how it all works. They should be happy to help you when they are able... heh.

One last change/addition to the format we started w/ in the tavern: When showing a chars 'thoughts' using the ~ symbols at either end, we will also make that text italic. Doing so will help it stand out more and make reading it all that much easier.
