-The place was dark and gloomy and no one is on sight. There was no sound except the howling of the dogs and wolves. - L - was all alone in that place. He carries mysterious things with him to protect himself from danger. A dagger on his sheath was the only weapon that you can see clear with him. He was on his way to the tavern to try to meet new people as he was bored being alone. As he enter the tavern he tries to observe whats happening inside and see if he can approach someone. Noticing that someone looks strange he went on to the bartender to get a drink.-

"2 glass of cold water please"

::The bartender took off without a word and came back with 2 glasses of water with 4 ice cubes each. With restless eyes - L - approaches a person with a mean look on him. ::

"Hey there is there any problem?"
he said kindly.

The person replied:
"Have we met before?"

With that said - L - gave him the other glass of water and said
"Here a cold water is more refreshing compare to wine and liquors"

::The other person was angered and smashes the table and roared ::
"Who do you think you are barging in with that kind of attitude?!"

::then punches - L - on the face. ::

"Thats not a good welcome for a new face in the tavern"
::- L - said and then grab the persons hand and punches him to the stomach:: and said "Lesson number one make your first punch in the stomach.. Now I wont be explaining the why figure it out yourself"
So the guy heard what - L - said and started to feel exhausted and breathes heavily and coughed
"W-..Who..Are..Y.o..o..u?"

::- L - then went face to face with the guy with a wide eye and a smirked face and said::

"I am - L - .. the new detective in town"

::Parked in his usual place, back against a wall, Brueson watches the show unfold before him::

"New detective?" He says loud enough for the newcomer to hear.

"About time we got some new detectives in this town. The older ones have all but given up on catching the thieves and thugs running rampent in this area. Why just the other day I had a 'meeting' in a dark alley with one of the ruffians. I was lucky to leave that alley in one piece, for he was one of the clumse one and I have just enough knowledge of self defence to scare him away."

::By this time the gentalmen with a sore stomach had gathered his things and was on his way out. Brueson waves the new comer over to his table.::

"Here, sit. I won't try and give you a black eye for being friendly."

-After receiving quite a blow from - L - the drunk guy took off. - L - was disappointed that he had a fight at a his very first stay in the tavern but then all of a sudden someone waves at him inviting him to be in the same table.

The guy said "Here, sit. I won't try and give you a black eye for being friendly."

::- L - then went to his direction and said to himself::

"Geez I don't want to be known like that punching people around. Oh hey wheres my water?"

So - L - excused himself as he pick up his glass of cold water, went back and said. .

"Finally someone friendly enough not to try and give me a punch"

::So - L - sat down on the guys table and said::

"Nice to meet you and who might you be?"

"Ah, that is a good question. I go by the name of Brueson. I am a traveling magician who has decided to settle down for a spell. I have been many wonderous places, but this is where I return to."

::Brueson takes a sip from his drink before continuing::

"As a was implying, its good to see new faces around here. So were you recruited by the city, or a freelance detective for hire? Cause you don't bare the city colors, but it is your first day in town."
